I detect some orange zest (bright citrus) and agave on the nose. There’s also some lime notes. The nose is overall light and clean. I taste buttery sweet cooked agave and oily lime zest followed up with a lingering peppery note. The nose and taste go well together. This is a nice well made Blanco. It’s no longer in production so grab them when you see them! Salud!

40% ABV Approx 24* Bx Initial nasal impact is warming. Aroma leads with citrus, mostly orange or mandarin. Cooked agave, earth and some Andes Candies (mint and chocolate). Slightly astringent mouth feel from a sufficient amount of alcohol. Drying with a buttery coating on the tongue. Initially sour impression on the taste. Cooked agave, pepper, mint and orange are the predominant flavors. Earth, some dark chocolate and vegetal dominate on the backend with a somewhat sambuca-like warmth to finish. A unique blanco at an very good value, but unfortunately no longer made

Tastes a lot like IXA or Quinta de Gomez...... Checked the nom and yep they are from distillery 1549.

Lots of great green agave and vegetal notes. Palate reminds me of 1123 a little with a well balanced cooked agave and green vegetal flavors.

There is a notably distinct aroma of minerality and ethyl notes. Also smokiness, citrus and floral undertones. With the initial sip, the palate is greeted by assertive alcohol, scathing ethyl, which makes the minerality feel abrasive as well. However, this is balanced by the emergence of a honeyed sweetness, earthy nuances, cooked agave, and minute brine undertones.Very multifaceted. Although the initial taste is rough to me, the finish I find personally enjoyable. Subtle brine nuances, fading traces of smoke, lingering agave earthiness, minerality, and citrus makes for a pleasant and lingering aftertaste.

I get raw agave and strong menthol scent, very grassy and citrusy. After the first sips I was done and this is my least favorite from this line. The ArteNom 1146, 1579, and 1414 are better than this. I look forward in trying ArteNom 1123 in the future.

Fresh, vegetal, green apple, raw agave. Smooth . Long good pepper burn and fade out.

Citrus and booze-forward aroma. Slight taste of pepper combined with deep notes of herb.

Earth and pepper. Long finish. Not as much agave as I prefer, but excellent blanco. For this price, I would buy El Tesoro, Pasote, or ArteNom 1579.

This is pretty good, but Fortaleza Still Strength Blanco is noticeably more enjoyable.

Delicious sweet peppery aroma. Bright, fresh, sweet black pepper. Long finish with a touch a unpleasant bitterness after a min or two.

Tried this at El Palomar in Santa Cruz! Bartender even suggested I suck on some oranges after each sip! Yummy!
