NOM-1115, Don Tacho añejo, Reserva Especial del Milenio. Thin glass bottle sealed with green wax with 2 glasses inside the middle of bottle, 38% abv., 1 liter version, marbete is from year 2000, tasted on 4-14-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: creamy, buttery, light vanilla, hint of wood note, slightly herbaceous, hint of maple syrup, after 20 minutes in the glass I can smell very light cooked agave notes. After 10 more minutes the cooked agave note becomes more intense and shines through. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, vanilla and wood note are quite intense on the palate, luckily after 30 minutes of oxygenation the cooked agave note is more present, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Wood note is quite active. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, light vanilla, hint of citrus, light creamy and buttery notes with a hint of earthiness persists.
