I drank this when it was first introduced, 2014-2015ish? when I was sipping sweet tequila, such as clase azul and dos artes. fast forward to 2022 and i can no longer drink these kinds of tequila. they taste too artificially sweet.

Not sure what's up with this line, but this is one of the few I actually had to spit out. Left a nasty chemical linger that required several gargles and rinses to remove from my mouth. Avoid also!

Overly sweet. I'm talking excessively sweetened. Sigh. Why must brands do this? This smells like pineapple and red apple. The taste is too sweet to detect anything else but sugar. Swirl it around in your glass and watch the sugar actually cling to the sides. Sorry, but yuck.

A bit cleaner than the repo, but still engineered. Way too sweet. If you want authenticity, look elsewhere.

I’m not sure I agree with many who say this is overly sweet/artificially sweet but I would agree that it lacks depth and complexity. It opens well but not mind-blowing. Maybe not one to enjoy straight on ice but I do like it on ice w/ a squeeze of lime. There are better blancos to enjoy as a sipper but this is not bad. Creamy, sweet, mild citric, sugar cane, not an agave-forward blanco.

Good but simple, this is quite smooth but doesn’t offer very much complexity or interest for me. Nothing off though.

Overall a sweet and smooth tequila. Very nice. But limited on the strong agave and earthy notes due to the sweetness. A good, quality tequila for those who don't like tequila.
