NOM 1137 | Aroma: Very strong aroma. Lots of oak and caramel but also a ton of berry. Reminds me more of an extra Añejo than Añejo. Flavor: Lots of oak. Definitely not my favorite flavor in a tequila but whiskey drinkers might enjoy this. I was hoping the berries would come through in the flavor but there is a bit of caramel. Finish: Solid strong finish. Hangs around for a while. I'm so surprised this is so bold when the Reposado was so bland.

NOM 1137 | NOM 1137 Lots of oak in the aroma - vanilla, sweet fruit (red apple, berries, citrus). Much like the repo, the variety of aromas do not manifest in the flavor. Pretty much a one-note blah without anything really distinguishing. Finish is short. 7/4/2017 (vertical tasting)
