Found this up in Tlaquepaque for $380 pesos. The bottle looks like an old fashioned vegetable oil bottle. Aromas: Complementary barrel oak, balanced barrel spices. Vanilla and allspice stand out. Lush, ripe fruit (peach and cherry) and some cellar notes. Flavor: Barrel spices and pepper mingle with the thick agave sweetness. Caramel makes an appearance. A lot of flavor packed into this 38% ABV Mexican offering.

Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: RMA38NAL006, bottled on 10-09-2014, tasted on 12-3-23. Color: yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light stone fruit sweetness, light citrus, a hint of pepper, hint of vanilla and light wood notes. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, wood note is more intense on the palate, a hint of cinnamon. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave with light citrus and a hint of pepper note persists.
