tasted june 10, 2023 Conquistador blanco NOM 1488. thank u seattle juan for sharing!! I really enjoyed this blanco. looking at other reviews here, I'd think it would not be good but this particular expression was from NOM 1488, and it was quite good. I noted the bubblegum flavor I get with el Tesoro 87 pts

NOM 1488 | Completely different profile from the Blanco Fuerte and understandable since different distilleries. More viscous in the mouth and actually has more alcohol presence at 40% than the 46% does. Agave, citrus and some fennel make for a full bodied flavorful blanco. Ignore the other rating. 33 is Cuervo Especial territory. This blanco isn't that. 02/07/2018

NOM 1488 | this was my go to back when it was on the shelf. down to my last 3 bottles. agave and slight citrus on the taste then adding a little heat with a fairly long finish of sweet pepper corn. hard to find today

Review #177 - El Conquistador Tequila Blanco

Thanks to friend, I was able to try the entire line today. I'd seen them and read about them a bit, but never pulled the trigger on buying them.
