NOM 1141 | Older Blue Ceramic bottle from NOM 1141. Butterscotch, caramel and agave with some agave and oak notes. Short finish with some alcohol.

No NOM, Lot MA-EL-0102 Super-Jalisco. Nose is strange, cherry and almost a hint of varnish. Flavor is medicinal with a sharp bite. I opened this bottle after 2 years of storing, and this is the second tasting after letting it rest again for about 5 months

NOM 1141. Really nice all around. assuming the lower scores were from different NOM 2003.

NOM 1141 | NOM 1141. This juice was bottled in 2003. It was surprisingly better than the ratings in the low 80s. This tequila has been associated with many NOMs. Maybe 1141 is the winner! Great aroma and flavor. Deduct point for the price $42/2oz. Blue bottle.

NOM 1462 | Yeast , Fermented cake, bakery, frosting, cherries, Bailey’s, a little alcohol forward. Great packaging.

A hand blown bottle with a cactus inside, topped off with actual cork, and pricey at 70$, you would think the tequila was decent at very minimum. Bottle lot number ma-el-0102. No NOM or CRT number on the bottle. This smells like fresh varnish on a boat deck and the flavor is worse. If you've ever yawned while your wife was putting on hairspray you've tasted porfidio. I hope I just got a bad bottle but I won't be looking to try it again. Now to figure out what to do with the rest of the bottle, it's that bad. Maybe paint stripper.
