As noted from other tasters. Cooked agave, butter and alcohol on the nose. Agave, vanilla, citrus in the mouth. A little lime and white pepper in the finish. Also at the end is a snitch of wet cardboard.

NOM 1459 | For those who like tequila in margaritas and/or chug shooters one after the other, Manik will not taste well to that sort of unrefined palate. With it’s buttery aroma and flavor to match, with added hints of warm vanilla cooked agave, any tequila connoisseur will be thrilled to sip this on clean anytime. A great value.

Slightly more refined than it's Blanco counterpart. Still however very hot on the nose with alcohol, virtually no oak on the pallet or nose that I can tell even though there is, unrefined taste and flavor and find it simplistic. Very good in a variety of mixed drinks margaritas and cocktails, however, I would not be sitting around sipping this. Nor recommending it for others to do so. As a mixed base I could see it being fine as it masks the flaws of the finished product.
