There's not all that much in the nose of this. Almost like it's crying out for character. This is really obvious when you smell the Añejo, and compare them side by side. There's some cooked agave, vanilla and red bell pepper, with the nutmeg of the blanco carrying over in the aroma. The flavor is nice, but it keep looking for something to reach out and grab me. Feels a bit incomplete, but still very drinkable. The finish is a bit rough on the back palate, less enjoyable than the blanco.
