Very dark appearance. Slow legs. Nose: Initially pronounced oak presents that quickly gives way to vanilla and cinnamon. Next wave brings dark ripe fruit, candied dried fruit, agave and a yeasty note. Flavor: Oily and sweet. Barrel spices, pepper, round fruit flavors and whiskey oak.

Marbete is from 2006, tasted on 10-6-23. Color: dark yellow to light brown. Aroma: cooked agave with light sweetness, aromatic wood note, after 30 minutes in the glass it smells like camphor wood, baked apples, cinnamon & the agave note becomes sweeter, alcohol sensation is medium low. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, ends with baked apples with cinnamon & camphor wood note. Finish is medium to long, cooked agave with a hint of baked apples and cinnamon notes persist.

Citrus and cinnamon aromas detected, followed by a deep oak profile. Pleasant and appealing nose! Surprised by the roundness and smooth flavor of this Tequila from Michoacán. Very easy on the palate with a soft finish. overall profile is light, surprising and tasty. Light smooth finish, that is almost a vanilla-style sweet. No lingering or bitter aftertaste. Great price for a solid añejo!

This is my first tequila from Michoacan. Dark Amber color and oily legs in the glass. Aroma of oak, vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor of oak and a spice/sweetness. Medium-long finish.

It's like Nutella! Lots of chocolate and earthy, nutty notes.

First tequila I've tasted from Michoacan. Hints of nutmeg and cinnamon on the nose with a dry mid-palate roll that finishes long and spicy. Very unique. Very tasty.
