There are some redeeming qualities lurking in the background but overall uninspired. Feels like someone pulled the rug out from under something on its way to being great. Too bad.

The aroma is chocolate and then opens up into cooked agave, cream and red apple. The strength of the aroma it’s nice and inviting. It does tells you that it will have a mellow personality and easy to drink. The flavours are of cooked agave and leather. It has a nice heat that keeps you warm and cosy. It’s sweet enough, and after a few seconds it disappears. It makes you think that it had the potential to keep going it stop running and couldn’t reach the end line. It’s body covers the mid tongue nicely and sits there till the end. It forgets the existence of the rest of your mouth, which makes it feel like they were not invited to this party. It will be good to mix but not versus powerful ingredients, since it will not be able to keep up with their game. It was a present so I don’t know the price and I will maybe recommend it but it all depends on what options are available.
