This is spicy for me from the blanco with not a lot of wood though the neck tag claims 8-14 months aging in barrels of 220L. If that's the case that some is 8 and some is 14 then this is a blend? Or the market speak is completely effed up. Anyway this is nicely spiced, slightly sweet like other del Senor products, has a nice mouthfeel and finishes easy.

Aroma. Baked agave, oak and caramel Flavor. Baked agave, black pepper and oak with a hint of vanilla Finish. A sweet and spicy finish that lingers This reposado is well balanced and smooth with enough spice to make it interesting.

Not bad. Better if it’s me Ed with something. With that being said , it’s great for the price. I would buy again.

Agave, butter, vanilla on the nose. Very similar to 1942. The finish is a bit alcoholic with some nice vanilla tones

Same notes as with the blanco ... yeasty sweetness with pepper and mint in the background. The barrel balances this expression a bit over the blanco and gives it an extra point. Again, priced right.

Found this for $32 in Arizona. On the nose you can definitely smell the agave. It has a cooked aroma but not like what you would notice from brick ovens. Oily in the mouth. More agave, oak, caramel and vanilla. The finish goes down slow with more oak, black pepper, barrel spice and a minty burn in the back.

I normally drink añejos but when I compared the experts ratings, I decided to go with the reposado. Neat cold. I've been drinking tequila for a while but I'm new to identifying tastes. I can tell you I really enjoyed it. It was fairly smooth but definitely had strong character.
