At this price point, any tequila should be excellent, almost perfect.

Excellent extra aged añejo with great spice overtones on the nose and the palate. Thanks to Don Nom for the hookup on this, for me, hard to find bottle. This XA is light in color, resembling an Ocho or G4 approach, but has a great aroma even from a freshly opened bottle. Aromatic wood and baking spice come through with some alcohol. Sipping reveals a light flavor with oak and some spice that fades to a mid tongue, numbing finish that is very long lasting.

Pretty darn delicious- too bad it's rare. A beautiful, rounded caramel finish, almost dulce de leche. Cooked agave and vanilla nose.

Very well aged tequila. If you see a bottle of this somewhere, buy it!

A lot of fruit and sweet wood on the nose, especially vanilla. Sweet entry which quickly turns more earthy, with notes of black tea and anise. Oaky finish of moderate length.

Bottle Lote Year 2000 MX version - Tasting notes are very similar to the older Centinela Añejo perhaps a tad more wood and spiciness & a slightly longer finish...the cost $$$ was a negative factor that dragged down its rating.
