Banana aroma from reposado shows up again. No heavy barrel that sometimes shows up in an anejo. Simple sipper with a great long finish.

Wonderful aroma of cooked agave cinnamon and chocolate like. This tequila taste wonderful, the cooked agave lingers in the mouth leaving an oily mouth feel with notes of cinnamon, chocolate and sweet vanilla . There is very little burn perhaps because is 3x destilled.

I would rate the taste of this anejo approaching extra anejo. very good value as a result. as per the tag line. " striking smooth just the right bite" it burns the mouth a bit, but tge finish smooths it out.

I do like this distillery- the price point for this great tequila and their others are a great combo. Cost $44.99 + $5.70 shipping

Strong banana on the nose with a great spicy finish with hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Currently my favourite high end tequila to share with my friends!

Review #185 - Crotalo Tequila Anejo

My last review of the Crotalo line. I've loved the first 3 and I'm expecting the same from this. Crotalo might be the best new tequila out there right now. The bottles, the aromas, the flavors...there's nothing not to love about this line.
