NOM 1456 Aroma: Spun sugar and vanilla. Trace agave presence. Flavor: Hot and a nondescript sweetness - perhaps maple syrup and vanilla? Some bitter notes linger. Not a pedigree tequila for aficionados. But it is a budget pleaser for many of my neighbors.

Joven, Mexican 35% abv. 950ml. bottle, lote: 003, bottled on 08-12-2020, tasted on 10-25-23. Color: yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, light vanilla, fruit acidity, a sweetness that is like cotton candy with acidity, quite peculiar, however I feel that it is not derived from agave, slightly earthy. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, sweet cough syrup-y. Finish is short to medium, sweet & acidic note persists for a short time.

This is a low priced tequila but the overall product great . This has been a family favorite for several generations now this was grandfather favorite tequila. My family is from Jalisco MX birth place of all tequila . This a great tequila , don’t let other people tell what’s good try for yourself .
