Tax stamp from 2009. Real cork, 35% ABV Nose: There is a perfume, floral quality gently wafting over earthy mineral base notes. Fruity agave, lemon/lime citrus, pineapple, vanilla and a hint of cookie spices. Flavor: Spices, amaretto cookies, potent black pepper and agave - with a trace of the perfume found in the aromas. A little thin in the mouth. But I’d take a second pour of this.

I found this randomly on a back shelf at my bar. So I tasted it and found it surprisingly tasty. Nice overall flavors of agave, raisins, dried fruit with light barrel notes. I didn’t realize this was made at Arette until I went to put in my notes.

$200MXN Hard to beat a Tequila from Arette at this price.
