NOM 1465 | I prefer the reposado in this line as the blanco is 3X distilled which I think mutes the aroma and taste a bit. Agave and mint on the nose and caramelized agave in the mouth. Nice tingly finish. This review is based on the 100 ml double packs at Duty Free stores in MX that consist of one reposado and one blanco.

NOM 1585 | Smooth at first, then a little sweet, and a lot of peppery after taste. Not very well balanced.

NOM 1465 | The bottle I tried had been opened for a while, so my review may be skewed. That said, I’m getting a sort of medicinal scent on the nose. Some vegetal elements, but much agave. The taste isn’t horrible—a nice little agave burst with a hint of something sweet. The aftertaste is off-putting though. Kinda funky, which I have believe is because my bottle is so old.

NOM 1585 | Plenty of agave. Good heat. Nice nose. Seems like a great tequila. I’d buy again and should try the repo now.
