This the “standard reposado”. Not the Special Craft or Extra Blend. Just the standard issue 40% Mexican release. Nose: Caramel and citrus, followed up with fruit, and agave notes. Some pungent minerals mingled with pineapple. Flavor: Butterscotch, vanilla, black pepper and orange peel. Finish: Rounded fruit and medium pepper.

It has additives. I’m a purist so I don’t appreciate shortcuts.

Sweet smell. Strong taste. A little raw with a bite. Finishes with a burning rasp in the throat.

Aroma - Agave forward, sensing hints of pepper and vanilla. Flavor - Too sweet for my taste. Tasting vanilla and caramel, but not enough of what I'm looking for.
