Gotta say, this has one of the best aromas you are ever going to come across!! Tons and tons of vanilla, think about the smells and sensations of walking into a bakery and that’s exactly what they have bottled. No agave left that I could detect, this is all barrel and that’s ok. Losses some points for a thin, weak finish but overall it’s a delight to try.

Is a great tequila the smell and taste is really good, but what brought it down for me is the price.

Much subtler nose than the de Rouge's orange bomb. Interesting as this has many of the French oak elements of the 11 year XA if not all the complexity but adds a layer of aroma and flavor from the light sweetness of the added year in an Irish Whisky cask. Interesting product. 6 years aged this has some underlying agave still and has a quite good balance between the 3 elements.

Excellent extra extra extra anejo. Won’t get any points for value, as this is also extra extra extra expensive. But this is a complex tequila that brings the vanilla of the 11yr aging song with some extra something from the double-aging in whiskey barrels. It’s got a little more twang than the Collaboration or Del Porto. Very enjoyable. Find a sample somewhere.

Synthetic scents and flavors overwhelm. This is not anything like their 11 year or the red bottle which are both excellent. I even prefer their Gran Reserve which is much cheaper. Cotton candy, vanilla, roasted marshmallows, caramel, and honey on the nose. Whiskey barrel, cotton candy, and honey on the palette with a hint of agave. Smooth lingering finish.

Beautiful scent, sweet, notes of butterscotch and caramel. Wonderfully smooth finish and great legs.

Fantastic agave forward honey aroma - 11 years in French and Tennessee whisky barrels for sure. Bitter on the front palate with the classic asombroso leathery body. Honey and oak on the palate to finish.

Surprising nose, butterscotch and even some lingering pepper. Very balanced with great dryness from the barrel to round it out. The epitome of premium sipping juice.

A little whiskey on the nose but balanced with a subtle sweetness, very smooth and mild sweetness, dried fruit, mild honey , little to no after burn . Overall very nice .
