Massive Black Forest cake off the nose, hits by smell alone this is crushable! The juice is nice, I’m not really a cognac guy so I don’t gush over it but I can appreciate the time effort behind it. Lovely finish that drifts off slowly into the sunset, this stuff is a real treat.

Wow!! Extreme floral aromatics at first pour, but after sitting for a few minutes this is solid humidor with cedar, nutmeg, clove and french oak barrel spice of stone fruit. Not any agave here unlike the more aged Fuenteseca releases but it doesn't hurt the aging profile. This is interesting but not a regular sipper. The price also holds this back as I gave a 5 for value. 27/06/2018

Ultra smooth buttery vanilla goodness. Don’t taste much agave after 11 years of barrel aging, but not in a bad way. Less alcohol on the nose than the 5yr aged, but you definitely pay for it with higher price. One of my new favorites — if only I could afford more than a sample!

Butter cream and caramel on the nose with a faint hint of cooked agave. Cotton candy, buttercream, butter, floral, and butterscotch. Excellent finish that lingers on the front and edges of the tongue.

Beautiful scent of caramel, vanilla, toffee and butterscotch. Smooth finish with tastes of vanilla and caramel. A bit over priced but an excellent tequila.

Fortunate to get to try a sample of this. Wonderful nose, almost like a bourbon. Custard, maple, very dessert-like aromas. Palate was very under control. Rich vanilla that wasn’t too sweet, more decadent. Flavor lingered for a decent while. Price is just the hardest justification for this.

Cinnamon and dulce de leche aroma. Taste like cooked agave, toffee and ends in light mouth coat.

Had to get my name on the wall at anejo before I left. What a treat. An interesting cherry aroma and flavour. Definitely not worth the price but enjoyed nonetheless.

Absolutely love this tequila. Not normally a fan of the xrta ‘s but the balance of flavors here is legit

Roasted Marshmallows followed by a smooth bite like that of a warm Serrano chile

Very fruity nose , smooth and flavorful , notes of cherry , honey and a bit of chocolate, a slight whiskey finish with very little burn , overall very nice .

WOW! $$$ but what an experience. Was thinking of giving it a perfect score but I think that it defeats the purpose. Maybe a better tequila will come along but it would have to be a god send. I know that rating anything is subjective but this tequila could go toe to toe with any scotch or cognac.

Excellent for sipping, very mellow. Easy to forget your sipping a tequila. Very expensive!

To me it had lost all of its tequila heritage, a good cognac though!
