Alcohol forward, oak and agave good, alcohol everywhere. A bit harsh. No tricky business though. Once you get a few in you you won't mind as much.
It used to be OK, not particularly good, not too bad. It has changed and/or I have changed - it is no longer good, it is bad . . . IMHO
Have become more and more a fan of reposados in general, but nothing special here... nose is average, taste meh, finish run of the mill.. nothing bad here but nothing impressive
Real good for the price.
Good for mixing but you can find better at this price range for sipping. Decent aroma with some burn on the finish.
For the price this is a great tequila. Excellent for mixing. A bit more of a burn for my likings while drinking straight but it's full of flavour and aroma. I've had better reposados but for the price I can safely recommend this, especially for mixing up great margaritas.
A bit sweet from agave but nice caramel notes.
I really just bought it for my bottle collection. Not what I would call a good tequila.
This is our go to tequila. It is the right balance of flavor and value. This was our favorite until we recently re-tried Cabo Wabo, but that is much more expensive.
Not a great reposado but not a bad one either. Great value for the money.
Decent tequila. Has a somewhat bland nose consisting of wood and agave. Very straightforward flavor of vanilla, oak and agave. Widely available, it is one of the better "basic" tequilas. It's not going to wow you but it is miles better than a mixto. Decent price makes this a good value. Can pass as a sipper if you don't have a big tequila selection and is great for mixing.
The initial nose is nice, i find it kind of earthy. Very smooth on the tounge but finished a bit sharp on the back of the throat. Has a long peppery finish... Leaves the lips and tongue tingling for a while.
Delicious!
aroma is the best part vanila and oak faint agave tastes of alcohol and oak with a bit of vanilla caramel moderate oily mouthfeel moderate linger of oak and vanilla oak and alcohol were a bit on the strong side overpowered the more subtle agave and vanilla not the worst repo I've tried
I made notes below as I was just beginning my tequila journey. I have found some much better as my palette matures but I will leave the early notes below for posterity.... Great sipping tequila. I really love this even though it would appear I'm in the minority. It has lots of aroma and good smooth taste. Really awesome for the low cost. One of my favorites for the price
Okay flavor. Rough finish.
Good for mixed drinks
strong but enjoyable smokey rose or cherry wood cask dominates
Tasted at Cajun's Wharf Restaurant in Little Rock.AR in a white wine glass. Medium caramel in color with medium tears. Difficult to describe nose along with moderate alcohol at first. Slights hints of vanilla/anise/orange but hard to pin down for me. Initial taste is somewhat smooth with an oily orangish taste. A little oak on the finish, but the overall taste is ok, but not great by any means. Again, the nose is complex, but not in a good way. Overall, it's not that bad, but I wouldn't recommend. D-
Smell is excellent. Not too powerful but the agave is strong in it. Smell is pleasant and sweet, not too smoky. Taste is strong. Lots of flavor. Alcohol taste is mild and goes away fast. You can taste more of the smokiness than smell it in my opinion. I can usually find this at a fair price making me very likely to buy more.
I have always loved the smoothness of this brand
This Tequila has great aroma floral cinnamon citrus it just smells great but it didn't transfer to taste kinda disappointing The finish was smooth but flavor was flat. I don't know how that happens but it did Four of tried it
Antiseptic aroma, front of mouth burn that lingers. I think this is going to make me feel like vinazas tomorrow.
Good straight up
I'll just be honest right off the bat. 1800 might be my least favorite brand of 100% agave tequila. This is a mixing tequila at best.

Had a heavy unpleasant flavor, not for me.
