Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: L20141S227, bottled on 20-05-2020, tasted on 10-27-23. Aroma: cooked agave, vanilla, light earthiness, sweetness that doesn’t feel like agave, and it impregnates! Palate: confirms aromas perceived, it is sweeter on the palate but ends slightly bitter. Finish is short to medium, light black pepper with a hint of cooked agave and cotton candy sweetness persists but not too long. Bitter end.

Has some serious funk on the aroma and taste. Not overly sweet. But still pretty bad. Maestro dobel reposado cristalino This is not a review for 1102 100 years. This is for Maestro dobel cristalino which I rated blind. Because I already rated MD, TMM would not clear my blind rating until I assigned a name. This was top of the list of tequilas I have never seen.

Aroma has a hint of agave and solvent. Gotta be the diffuser influence. Flavor is watered down agave and black pepper. Almost no finish.

Nose is very floral with hints of cooked agave. Palate is very, very smooth with a little bit of pepper on the end. Finish is fairly short but you know you are drinking tequila. For $20 you can’t beat this bottle for shots or cocktails. I even sip it, but don’t expect a lot of complexity if you do and you shouldn’t fault it for that

I liked the tequila, is simple, raw agave is present with citrus aroma and citrus flavors are present. A little salty, recommendable as mixer, a good choice.

If it wasn't for the price point I'd say to not bother wasting your efforts on this. If expecting a large party and want to go cheap then this is a good bottle. Poor presentation.

Look - this isn't great tequila but it is very serviceable. Nice pepper, and some stewed agave with floral notes makes this a good sipper or mixer in a pinch.
