Stars are following in the footsteps of George Clooney's hit with Casamigos, and the spirit may not be better for it.
Is this a trend that’s driven purely by financial incentives, whether to cash in like Clooney and company, or to profit from America’s increasing appreciation of the spirit?
Lou does a video review of Villa One Tequila Silver.
Following the landmark success of George Clooney’s tequila brand Casamigos, a crop of celebrities have tried to mimic its popularity with their own labels in the US.
1.5 oz Sample from Alex P 6-5-2023 The nose is very pleasant and the more u visit it, the more compex it gets = Citrus, agave, honey, mild mint, floral -chamomile? some fruit - melon? bananas? some minerality/stone, and a little anise Palate - not as much going on as the nose would indicate. but still nice. Some agave and minerality with a little mint, a little heat on finish. Finish is short at first but comes back around with heat that lingers, which is nice. Does have a slightly bitter taste at the end tho. Overall, a nice tequila which I would try again IF it was available, which sadly, it is not.
