From the same time frame as the oxidized añejo. No evaporation apparent here and even though only 35% abv, this is a nice agave and oak flavored, slightly sweet reposado.
Bottle from 2002. Some oxidation has left this 38% abv añejo with some soapy notes on entry. Not a fan of that.
NOM 1488 Lote B02. Nice aroma with hints of red chili flakes and earthiness. Taste is thin but finish grows and lasts with a bit of a warmth heat. A nice sipper to go with spicy food.
Light straw color. First hit on the nose is wood and alcohol. Light spices and trace agave notes. Not much there. Bitter off flavors. Borderline undrinkable. Although the fill line was good, perhaps the bottle has exceeded its useful time on earth.....
